Relive the unique feeling of retro consoles: insert a card, start your game.
The Card Reader and RecalCards transform your Recalbox into a real cartridge console, easy to use and fully plug and play.
Quick and easy installation
As always with Recalbox, everything is designed to be plug and play.
Simply stack the Card Reader tier onto your RecalTower, start Recalbox, and insert a RecalCard into the reader. The system is immediately ready to use.
Assign a game to a card in a second
From the Recalbox menu, press START on a game to assign it to a card.
Once configured, the RecalCard works like a real cartridge:
- Insert the card to automatically start the game
- Start Recalbox with the card already inserted to launch the game at startup.
10 cards included — double-sided, 2 games per card
The kit includes 10 programmable RecalCards:
- 2 cards for each of the 5 console styles available
- A front and back side allowing two games to be associated with the same card
Important: the cards do not contain any games.
They must be associated with games already present in your Recalbox.
Two reversible front panels with four different styles
The kit includes two reversible front panels allowing you to customize your Card Reader with four distinct visual styles (8-bit, 16-bit, and two additional variations inspired by iconic consoles).
An easy way to give your RecalTower the look you want.
